It’s finally cooling down in Vegas! You have no idea how happy this makes me! I can’t wait to bust out my fall clothes. Aren’t they just so much cuter and comfier?

When buying new clothes for each season, there are definitley certain items that you will want to buy. These staple items can be worn many different ways, which is my favorite part about them and essentially can save you money because you aren’t buying things that you won’t ever wear. These are the items that whenever you are running late, you always seem to grab them!

6 Fall Essential Closet Staples

#1. Basic Long Sleeve Tee

Honestly, I wear these BY FAR the most. I can layer them under vests, dresses, overalls, flannels, jackets, etc. They are the most versatile piece of clothing you will own. Not only do I buy a good white and black one, but I always love a striped tee as well. They are classic and will never go out of style.

#2. Cardigan

They are perfect for those not so cold days and can be easily layered under a coat. Dress it up or dress it down. I love this red cardigan and the ruffled sleeve. It also comes in black!

#3. Oversized Sweater

An oversized sweater is my most favorite style in the fall. It looks amazing on anyone and can be worn with sneakers, ankle boots, heels, flats, etc. They look effortless and trendy. I love wearing them with distressed jeans and sneakers for a casual look, and then no ripped jeans and heeled booties for a date night.

#4. Tailored Jacket

A tailored jacket is so chic and very on trend this season. I used to wear blazers everyday when I worked in an office and I love how classy and slimming they are. Wear it over a dress, with a skirt, dress pants, distressed jeans, the list can go on. I love one that is a little oversized so you don’t feel so constrained.

#5. Casual Sneakers

This is my most favorite trend right now and I hope it never goes away. Being a mom of toddlers these are what I live in! Pair them with jeans, a casual dress, maxi skirt, leggings, sweaters, blazers, etc. They have become so versatile and I’m loving it!

#6. Dark Jeans

I know distressed denim is very hot right now, but everyone needs a pair of dark, no ripped jeans. Invest in a good classic pair of dark denim that you can wear for years. They are so slimming and anyone at any age looks amazing in a pair.
