Thanksgiving is next week and I’m so excited! Food and family is what this life is all about! If you need to bring a side to your dinner, this recipe is one of my favorites. It’s light and delicious which is a nice balance with all the heavy and rich food that is served for Thanksgiving. And best of all, it’s SOOOO EASY and you can’t mess it up!

This pomegranate salad recipe as well as Thanksgiving Tablescape is beautiful!

Ingredients:

2 Pomegranates

2 Large Cans of Fruit Cocktail

1 Regular Can Mandarin Oranges

2 Cans of Tidbits Pineapple

3 Bananas

1 Quart Real Whipping Cream

3 T Sugar

3 t Vanilla

Instructions:

  1. A few hours before (I do mine the night before) scoop out your pomegranate seeds or you can buy them all ready out in the produce section at your grocery store. Mix them with the sugar and leave in fridge.
  2. The next morning whip your whipping cream until it gets fluffy.
  3. Add all your cans of fruit (DRAIN the fruit) into your whipped cream.
  4. Add your sugar and vanilla.
  5. Enjoy!
